Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 

Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed-martial artist. She was born on August 18th, 1986. She is currently in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is the past UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate previously competed in Strikeforce, where she was a Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. She was also vice president of ONE Championship. In October 2022, 2022, she's 10th in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. Tate was born in Tacoma, Washington. As a child Tate often played with the boys in her community at the playgrounds.

   Abromeit was a top athlete when she was just sixteen years old She was granted the opportunity to study at Duke University in Durham (North Carolina) due to her sixth position in the American ranking of junior tennis players . When she graduated from college Abromeit fell in love with both with music and acting, so she decided to explore a career in this field. Apart from acting, she also sings and plays guitar, and she writes songs of her own.    Abromeit first began acting in 2007 on the television series Burn Notice. She then performed a variety of roles in television and film series.
